As the newest edition to the legendary 990 series the 993 features abzorb sbs advanced cushioning which provides 5-10% more effective cushioning than original abzorb with no compression set for responsiveness you can feel for miles. Durable blown rubber outsole is extremely flexible light and also helps provide cushioning. Weight: approx. 11.2 Oz. Upper: pigskin/mesh upper is lightweight and supportive. Midsole: abzorb sbs in the heel and forefoot for maximum shock absorption. Encap midsole/heel is a polyurethane rim with c-cap core which provides supportive ride with cushioning benefit. C-cap midsole is a compression molded eva for cushioning and flexibility. Outsole: blown rubber outsole is lightweight and cushioned. N-durance outsole is a rubber compound for maximum durability in high-wear areas.
